Privacy Policy

Odd Byte is designed to collect as little personal information as practical.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, information may include technical request data required to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, request metadata, timestamps, and security or diagnostic events.

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include in your email. If you make a payment, payment and transaction information is processed by Stripe.

How we use information

Service providers and disclosure

Odd Byte uses service providers where necessary to operate the service. Cloudflare provides DNS, network delivery, security, email routing, and hosting infrastructure. Stripe processes support payments.

Information may be disclosed to these providers as required for them to deliver their services, or where disclosure is required by law. Odd Byte does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for advertising.

How information is disclosed

Information is transmitted to service providers through the normal operation of their hosted services and secure network interfaces. We do not publish support correspondence or payment information.

Security

We use proportionate technical and operational safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS transport, restricted administrative access, managed infrastructure security controls, and minimisation of collected data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We aim to retain operational and support information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for service operation, security, support, accounting, or legal obligations. Third-party providers may apply their own retention requirements.

Your choices and rights

You may contact us about personal information associated with a support request or payment. Applicable privacy rights depend on your jurisdiction.
